Description / Scope of Work
The Sindh Institute of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences (SIOVS) Hyderabad invites sealed tenders for the procurement of stationary, diet items (food) and consumable items under Regular Budgetary provision for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement encompasses three main lots including stationery supplies, dietary provisions, and consumable materials required for operational purposes at the Eye Hospital located in Journalist Colony, Hyderabad, Sindh. Bidders are requested to submit detailed quotations specifying quantities and specifications as outlined in the Schedule of Requirements section of the bidding documents.
Eligible bidders must be manufacturers or authorized dealers registered with Income Tax, sales tax, and Sindh Board of Revenue Tax (SST Rules 2012). Applicants are required to submit proof of experience in supplying stationary, diet items and consumable goods along with valid authorization certificates from original sources. Bidders must provide financial statements from scheduled banks for the last three years, audit reports, and certification of registration with FBR/SRB including three years of income tax and sales tax payment certificates and Active Tax-payer List (ATL) documentation. A Bid Security of 2.5 percent (refundable) must be submitted in favor of the Executive Director. An undertaking on judicial paper confirming that the firm has never been blacklisted by any government or semi-government organization is mandatory.
Tender documents and detailed specifications are available online through the EPADS website at https://portalsindh.eprocure.gov.pk from the publication date until the submission deadline. Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS portal with a copy of Bid Security attached to the e-proposal and original Bid Security submitted with the Technical Proposal in hard copy. The tender will be opened at 12:30 PM on Monday, 27th July 2026 at the SIOVS office. Bid validity period is 90 days, extendable as per SPPRA rules 2010 as amended.
