Description / Scope of Work
The City Traffic Police, Rawalpindi invites sealed tenders for a framework contract covering nineteen categories of procurement for the financial year 2026-2027 under Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority Rules 2014. The total estimated procurement value exceeds 69 million Pakistani rupees and includes office stationery, printing materials, stitching materials, computer stationery, electrical and sanitary items, cleaning supplies, catering items, road safety equipment, IT equipment, plant and machinery, furniture and fixtures, vehicle spare parts, batteries, tyres and tubes, and repair and renovation services for traffic police buildings and equipment in Rawalpindi, Punjab. All procuring items require GST/PST and Income/Withholding Tax registered suppliers.
Bidders must be GST/PST and Income/Withholding Tax registered firms eligible to supply goods and services to government agencies. A bid security of 3 percent of the estimated cost for each category must be submitted in the form of a demand draft or pay order made in favour of the Chief Traffic Officer, Rawalpindi. The bid security of the successful lowest bidder will be converted into a performance guarantee upon acceptance of the bid. Interested firms are required to maintain the quality of supply and quoted rates until 30 June 2027. Deductions for Income Tax and other government taxes will be applicable as per government rules.
Bidding documents are available at the PPRA website (https://ppra.punjab.gov.pk), City Traffic Police Rawalpindi website (https://www.ctprwp.gop.pk), and the E-pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS). Bidders must upload their bids through EPADS by 20 July 2026. Bid opening will take place on the same day at 11:00 AM in the presence of the procurement committee and participating firm representatives. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids under Rule 35 of PPRA Rules 2014.
