The Cantonment Board Malir, under the Military Lands & Cantonments Department, invites sealed bids for the supply of plants and horticulture items for tree plantation 2026 in Malir Cantonment, Sindh. This tender encompasses the provision of various plant species and horticultural materials including Casanadosia, Tabobia (Pink and Blue variants), Amaltas, Gulchain, Kacchnaar, Plobinia, Gulmohor, Jasmine Bush, and Bamboo in specified quantities, along with soil conditioning chemicals, fungicide, rooting powder, and fertile soil. The total scope includes 14 line items with quantities ranging from 5 to 2000 units depending on the item type and unit of measurement. The procurement is aimed at enhancing green cover in the cantonment area through organized tree plantation initiatives.
Eligible bidders must be registered suppliers, contractors, wholesalers, or authorized dealers with valid registration certificates from relevant tax and revenue authorities. Bidders must be listed on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue and possess valid Income Tax and Sales Tax registrations. The bid security requirement is set at 5 percent of the quoted bid price, which must be submitted in the form of a pay order or demand draft in favour of the Cantonment Board Malir from scheduled banks in accordance with Rule 25 of PPRA Rules 2004 and subsequent amendments. The tender form can be obtained from the office of the Cantonment Board Malir upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000.
Bids will be evaluated under the single stage two envelope procedure as per Rule 36(b) of PPRA Rules 2004, with separate envelopes for technical and financial proposals. The technical proposal envelope will be opened initially, while financial proposals will remain in custody until further evaluation stages. Bids are valid for 90 days from the date of submission. The tender opening is scheduled for 12:30 noon on the specified date.
