Description / Scope of Work
The Khyber Pakhunkhwa Textbook Board (KPTBB), Peshawar invites Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from national publishers, individuals, authors and group of authors for the development of textbooks across four subjects in grades nine and eleven. The textbooks required are Physics (Grade 9), Computer Science (Grade 9), Computer Science (Grade 11) and Islamiat Compulsory (Grade 11) based on the curriculum 2024-25 notified by the Directorate of Curriculum and Teacher Education (DCTE), Abbottabad. This procurement is conducted under the Khyber Pakhunkhwa Textbooks and Learning Materials Policy (KPTLM) 2017. The Board seeks developers with proven experience and requisite technical capacity to undertake manuscript development, submission and reviews in accordance with approved rates.
Applications are invited exclusively from registered national publishing firms, individuals, authors or group of authors with valid income tax registration. Interested developers must demonstrate adequate experience and demonstrable technical capacity in the development and production of quality textbooks. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all EOIs at any stage of the process without assigning reasons, in accordance with applicable rules and policies. Prequalification documents may be collected from the Board's office in Peshawar during office hours (09:00 AM to 05:00 PM) on working days or downloaded from the official website https://tbb.kp.gov.pk. Qualified publishers and developers shall bear all expenses related to manuscript development, submission and reviews at approved rates.
Complete EOIs must be submitted to the office of the Secretary, Khyber Pakhunkhwa Textbook Board, Peshawar on or before 20 July 2026, with incomplete applications rejected outright without further correspondence. Applicants are strongly advised to carefully review all EOI and prequalification documents before submission to ensure all required information and supporting documents are provided. Any false statement, concealment of material facts or submission of forged documents will result in immediate disqualification and potential prosecution under applicable laws.
