Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO) invites open competitive bids for three major electrical infrastructure projects in Punjab. Tender reference TENDERS/FDOSC/GERCO/2026-11 covers three distinct works: extension of 11KV room at 132KV Grid Station Cantt Sialkot with BOQ cost of PKR 6,416,914; provision and installation of CCTV camera systems at four newly constructed 132KV Grid Stations with specifications as per detailed BOQ; and construction of pole foundation type SPA meter raised location at 34 on the 132KV WC Transmission Line DHA-Qila Dedar Singh with material shifting from GEPCO warehouse Wazirabad and erection of SPA pole. The combined project scope covers grid station augmentation and transmission line infrastructure enhancement across multiple locations in Punjab province.
Eligibility requirements stipulate that participating contractors must hold valid PEC registration renewal for 2025-26 under categories CE-10, CE-02, EE-05, or EE-02 as applicable. Average annual turnover supported by FBR tax returns for the last two years verified by certified auditor must equal or exceed the BOQ amount. Current bank statements from tender publication date to opening date must demonstrate 15 percent balance of individual work values. Contractors must provide at most two valid work orders of similar nature with cumulative cost equal to or exceeding 100 percent of BOQ amount along with completion certificates from issuing authorities for work executed in the last five years. Joint ventures as successful bidders must submit performance security in joint bank account with joint active NTN in FBR and PRA plus agreement on judicial stamp paper worth PKR 3000 attested by notary public. Original bid security of 2 percent BOQ cost in bank draft, pay order, CDR or bank guarantee must accompany technical bids for 120 days; successful bidders submit 10 percent performance security after LOI issuance.
Tender documents are obtainable from E-Pads version 2.0 and PPRA website. The tender will be opened through E-Pads using single stage two envelope procedure per PPRA rules 2004 clause 36(b), with separate sealed financial and technical proposals. Bid submission deadline is July 23, 2026 at 11:30 AM with opening scheduled for the same date at 11:30 AM. Completion periods are 60 days for tenders 01/2026-27 and 02/2026-27, and 20 days for tender 03/2026-27.
