Description / Scope of Work
The Office of the Hospital Director at MTI-Hayatabad Medical Complex in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhawa invites electronic bids and proposals through E-PADS for procurement of a comprehensive range of medical equipment, laboratory reagents, disposables and supplies. The tender covers thirty-three distinct procurement items including fully automated chemistry and immunoassay analyzers on reagent rental basis, hematology and molecular pathology equipment, laboratory chemicals and reagents, medical disposables for various departments including neonatal nursery, eye care, ENT, gastroenterology and anesthesia, bedding and uniforms, imaging films and cassettes, biomedical accessories, and maintenance contracts for critical infrastructure including UPS, fire fighting systems and CCTV cameras. The total estimated bid securities range from Rs. 100,000 to Rs. 1,000,000 depending on item category. This is a national competitive bidding process under KPPRA Rules 2014 as amended, intended for well-reputed and financially sound manufacturers, importers and authorized distributors registered with relevant tax authorities.
Eligibility requirements mandate that bidders must be registered with all relevant registration authorities including Federal Board of Revenue, income tax, sales tax, and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Revenue Authority where applicable. Bidders must submit original bid security in the form of a crossed demand draft made in the name of Hospital Director MTI-HMC Peshawar along with scanned copies uploaded online. A lowest bid certificate in the approved format is mandatory for all bids. Items specified as LOTs must be quoted in full lot scope; partial scope bids will be rejected as non-responsive. All bids must be submitted on Delivered Duty Paid basis in Pakistani rupees only. Framework contracts shall remain valid until 30 June 2027 and are further extendable per government rules, while equipment on reagent rental basis is contracted for three years duration.

Pre-bid meetings will be held on 14 July 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Conference Room of MTI-HMC Peshawar, Administration Block. Electronic bids must be submitted through E-PADS portal until 11:00 AM on 28 July 2026 and will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
