Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited invites pre-qualification applications from Human Resources provider firms and contractors registered with EOBI and SESSI for sanitation and cleaning services at the company's office premises in Karachi, Sindh. The scope of work encompasses daily cleaning and maintenance of office washrooms, cleaning and sweeping of office yard and open spaces with surrounding areas, and maintaining hygienic and sanitary conditions throughout the shipyard. Well-reputed firms and contractors with suitable experience in the aforementioned sanitation and cleaning services are eligible to obtain pre-qualification documents from the HR Department on any working day between 0830 and 1600 hours from the advertisement date, upon payment of Rs. 2,000/- (non-refundable). The request must clearly state the application is for sanitation and cleaning services.
Only firms registered with EOBI and SESSI having demonstrated experience in sanitation and cleaning services are eligible to apply. Applicants must obtain pre-qualification documents before submitting their applications. The prequalification process is mandatory for all interested bidders seeking to participate in the subsequent bidding process. Upon successful prequalification, only those firms will be invited to submit formal bids.
Applications for prequalification must be delivered before 1100 hours on 20 July 2026 in sealed envelopes clearly marked as Application for Pre-qualification for Sanitation and Cleaning Services. Bids will be opened on the same day at 1130 hours. Tender details are also available on the PPRA website at www.ppra.org.pk. The organisation reserves the right to accept or reject any application as per PPRA rules.
