Description / Scope of Work
The Private Power & Infrastructure Board (PPIB) invites electronic bids for the disposal of ten used official vehicles through an open e-Auction via the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS). The vehicles are being sold on an as-is, where-is basis and include four Land Rover Defenders (2007), two Toyota Corollas (2006), two Suzuki Cultus (2005), one Suzuki Swift (2015), and one Hyundai Shehzore Truck (2007). This disposal activity aims to liquidate surplus government assets and is conducted by the PPIB headquartered in Islamabad, Federal territory.
Eligible bidders must be active taxpayers registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and must maintain a verified and active account on the EPADS platform. Detailed vehicle specifications, complete terms and conditions, bid security requirements, timelines, and evaluation criteria are accessible exclusively to registered bidders on the EPADS portal at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/ by searching for Disposal Activity ID 10163. Manual or physical bids will not be accepted; all participation must occur electronically through verified EPADS accounts only.
The e-Auction portal will remain open for bid submission until 28 July 2026 at 4:30 AM. Received electronic bids will be opened, reviewed, and evaluated online on the same day at 12:00 PM. The PPIB reserves the right to reject any or all bids in accordance with applicable public procurement and disposal regulations. For additional information, contact the Director (Administration) at the Private Power & Infrastructure Board, 2nd Floor, OPF Building, G-5/2, Islamabad, via phone 9222360.
For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
PPIB is liquidating 10 surplus vehicles (primarily 2005-2007 models with one newer 2015 Swift) through sealed e-auction on EPADS.
Mixed asset quality—older Land Rovers and Corollas alongside a newer Swift suggests heterogeneous disposal rather than fleet standardization. As-is sales eliminate warranty exposure but require on-site inspection capability. Same-day bid opening (4:30 AM closing, noon opening) creates compressed evaluation window; bidders should verify vehicle condition pre-bid since physical inspection access timing is unstated. One-off liquidation event, not recurring procurement.
Who can bid: Active FBR taxpayers with verified EPADS platform accounts only. No PEC category applicable (non-construction scrap disposal). NTN/tax registration mandatory. Physical bids rejected entirely—digital EPADS participation mandatory. Typically, bidders must possess valid CNIC and business registration (SECP if applicable entity type).
