Description / Scope of Work

The Center of Excellence, China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CoE-CPEC) invites sealed bids for a three-year open framework agreement for repair and maintenance of IT equipment. This procurement is conducted under the Public Procurement Rules, 2004, in single-stage, one-envelope format. The scope covers comprehensive IT equipment maintenance services to support the organization's operations in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Eligible bidders must be experienced and reputable firms with offices or setups in Islamabad or Rawalpindi, registered with the sales tax department and holding a valid national tax number (NTN). The bid security requirement is Rs. 20,000 in refundable form, submitted as a call deposit receipt in favor of PIDE, Islamabad. Interested firms must submit their technical proposals in a sealed envelope on or before July 29, 2026 by 11:00 hours. The bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 am in the office of the Chairman Purchase Committee CoE-CPEC in the presence of vendors. Bidders must provide evidence of previous work completion certificates and reputation, submit an undertaking confirming they have not been blacklisted by any organization, and include their NTN and GST registration details. The complete tender document is available on the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) website and on the organization's official website. CoE-CPEC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per PPRA rules. For further information, vendors may contact the CoE-CPEC office in Islamabad.

For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

Three-year framework agreement for IT equipment repair and maintenance serving CoE-CPEC operations across Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

Scale appears medium—ongoing support contract rather than capital project, suggesting recurring service calls and parts replacement. Notable: tight deadline (closing 28 July 2026, bid opening same day at 11:30 am), geographic restriction to bidders with physical presence in target cities, and requirement for prior work completion certificates. This suits established IT service providers positioned for long-term retainer relationships rather than one-off projects.

Who can bid: Bidders must be registered with sales tax department and hold valid NTN. Physical office or setup required in Islamabad or Rawalpindi. Evidence of prior completion certificates and non-blacklisting undertaking mandatory. This is service procurement, not construction—no PEC category applies. Foreign firms may participate if registered with FBR in Pakistan.
