For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

IESCo is procuring specialized repair and maintenance of a 132KV grid station building in Choa Syden Shah—a critical utility infrastructure project.

Scale appears medium; funding is FY 2026-27 budgeted, suggesting planned work rather than emergency repair. The July 2026 deadline is distant, allowing adequate mobilization time. This is likely one-off rather than recurring maintenance. Key advantage: EPADS-based e-bidding reduces travel friction, but requires digital infrastructure competency.

Who can bid: Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 and possess relevant civil works experience on similar grid/utility projects. PEC category not explicitly stated but typically PEC-II or above required for utility-scale infrastructure work. NTN/SECP registration typically mandatory for public procurement under PPR 2004.
