For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

World Bank-funded road rehabilitation project spanning 21.45km in Balochistan's rural development corridor.

Medium-to-large infrastructure contract with 14-month bidding window (unusual for construction), suggesting possible design or approval delays. Item-rate plus percentage premium structure indicates some cost variability. World Bank compliance requirements will impose stricter documentation and governance standards than typical local projects. Pre-bid conference attendance strongly advisable for clarification on technical specifications and site conditions in remote Balochistan terrain.

Who can bid: Bidders must hold valid Pakistan construction licenses and be registered with relevant regulatory authorities (typically PEC for road works, plus NTN/SECP registration). World Bank procurement policy applies—conflict of interest declarations mandatory. No specific PEC category stated; typically Category A or B required for 21.45km road project. Foreign bidders permitted under World Bank rules if compliant.
