Description / Scope of Work
The Executive Engineer (Roads), Civil Works PPAH Department, District Kharan, Balochistan invites sealed bids from eligible contractors for the resurfacing of Black Top Road from Jangla Road to Namo Road in District Kharan. The tender is advertised under composite schedule rates for the year 2026, with a tender fee of PKR 3000 and bid security at 3 percent. The estimated cost of the project is PKR 298,503,357. This work falls under PSDP funding and is part of the department's infrastructure development initiative in Kharan district, a remote area in Balochistan requiring reliable road connectivity.
Bidders must be active tax payers registered with the Federal Board of Revenue and not blacklisted by any procuring agency. The tender requires completion of similar nature work assignment over the last 208 working days with a minimum financial capacity demonstrated through at least two consecutive years of black listed certificate declaration and judicial stamp evidence. Bid security must be submitted in the form of bank guarantees or deposit at call as specified, with an amount equal to 3 percent of the estimated project cost. Procurement shall follow Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014 and single-stage two-envelope bidding procedure.
