Description / Scope of Work
Jinnah Sindh Medical University, Karachi invites sealed bids for the establishment of JSMU Autism Rehabilitation Centre under national competitive bidding procedure. This is a single-stage two-envelope tender with an earnest money requirement of Rs. 7,500,000 and a tender fee of Rs. 5,000. The project has a completion period of nine months and is being executed by the Procurement Department of the university located on Rafiqui H.J. Shaheed Road, Karachi, Sindh province. Bidders are required to be registered and active tax payers with applicable tax authorities including NTN, FBR list, and SRB, and must be registered with PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) with a valid license in the specified category and relevant experience.
Eligible firms must submit the latest certificates of NTN and SRB along with all required documents attached to the technical proposal as specified in the bidding documents. Bid security must be furnished in favor of Jinnah Sindh Medical University in the form of pay order, bank draft, or bank guarantee. All prescribed taxes applicable under federal, provincial, and local government shall be borne by the bidder or supplier. Bidders must enclose an affidavit on Rs. 200 stamp paper declaring that the firm has never been blacklisted from any government department.
Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the Procurement Officer, 6th Floor, JSMU during office hours on payment of the tender fee of Rs. 5,000 non-refundable and non-transferable, or downloaded from the official website www.jsmu.edu.pk or the Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority SPPRA ePADS portal at www.eprocure.gov.pk. Sealed bids must be submitted online on ePADS with technical and financial proposals uploaded separately, and bid security submitted in hardcopy on or before the tender submission deadline of 01 August 2026 at 09:00 AM. Tender opening will take place on 01 August 2026 at 09:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
