Heavy Industries Taxila invites sealed bids from eligible manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors, and suppliers for the procurement of material required for in-house manufacturing of parts for TK Haider and T59 tanks on a Free-on-Rail (FOR) basis. The tender is issued under the Standard Bidding Document framework in accordance with PPRA and Ministry of Defence Production rules. Delivery is required within 45 days of contract signing. Tender documents are available on the PPRA website, with bid submission and opening scheduled for 20 August 2026.
Eligible bidders must possess a valid National Tax Number (NTN) and Sales Tax Registration certificate where applicable. Bidders are required to submit proof of registration or pre-qualification from HIT, DGP, MoDP or government organizations; attested copies of tax and NTN certificates; audit reports for the last three financial years; bank statements for the preceding 12 months; attested CNIC copies of the Chief Executive or Director; trade links with original equipment manufacturers in case of distributors or agents; and a certificate on judicial paper worth Rs 100 duly attested by an Oath Commissioner confirming non-blacklisting status. Documentary evidence of contracts executed with government or semi-government organizations in the last three financial years is mandatory. A postal order of Rs 2,000 must accompany the technical bid.
Bids must be submitted in two envelopes (technical and financial) as per the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure.
