This is a multi-category procurement by HDIP Karachi for laboratory and operational goods including certified reference materials, chemicals, laboratory glassware, stationery and international proficiency testing services for diesel samples. The procurement appears medium-scale spanning multiple supply lines under annual budgeted reserves. Notable requirement: bidders must already be registered on ePADS 2.0 before submission; the closing date is imminent (August 2026) with same-day electronic opening. This is likely a recurring annual procurement supporting the institute's hydrocarbon research functions.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered on ePADS 2.0 and comply with Public Procurement Rules 2004. Typically, suppliers of chemicals and laboratory goods require relevant trade registration (NTN/SECP) and product certifications. Bid security is mandatory in the specified forms. No specific sectoral license mentioned, but international suppliers of proficiency testing must meet HDIP's technical standards.
