Description / Scope of Work
The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Irrigation Department, through the Paharpur Irrigation Division in D.I. Khan, invites bids from approved contractors for the construction of canal patrol roads under the Flood Protection Works and Irrigation Channel Development Programme. The project comprises two sub-works: construction of canal patrol roads along Additional Disty RD 00-Tail (estimated cost Rs. 10.00 million) and construction of canal patrol roads along Umray Wali Minor RD 00-Tail (estimated cost Rs. 2.00 million) in the reaches of Paharpur Irrigation Division. The combined estimated cost is Rs. 12.00 million, with project code CE 04 (Full) or CE 04 (v) or CE 01. Bids are invited through the E-PAK Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) in a single-stage, single-envelope format.
Bidders must be approved contractors of the Irrigation Department with renewed registration with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPPRA) for the financial year 2025-26 and hold a valid licence from the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-6 and above. A bid security of 2 percent earnest money plus stamp duty of the estimated cost must be submitted through a scheduled bank in favour of the Executive Engineer, Paharpur Irrigation Division. Bidders quoting rates more than 10 percent below the Engineer's Estimate must submit additional security as per KPPRA Notification SRO No. (14)/VOL-1-24/2021-22 dated 10-05-2022. All prevailing KPPRA Acts, Rules, and Government notifications apply.
Bids must be uploaded and submitted through EPADS (https://kp.eprocure.gov.pk/) before the system closing time of 1:00 p.m. on 10 August 2026, with physical submission by leading courier service. Bid documents and rate sheets (BOQ) must include both MRS and Non-MRS components. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 03 August 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the office of the Executive Engineer, Paharpur Irrigation Division, D.I. Khan, located opposite Peshawar High Court Circuit Bench.
