For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

This is a large-scale annual rate contract for diverse goods and services spanning materials, labour, machinery and consumables required for ongoing dam operations and maintenance throughout 2026-2027. The Rs. 2 million earnest money and multi-category scope indicate substantial operational spend. The 90-day bid validity and two-envelope process suggest a structured formal procurement. Notably, this is a renewal-type framework contract where the successful bidder becomes the primary vendor across multiple commodity classes for an entire financial year, offering stability but requiring broad operational and supply capacity.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered with FBR and SRB, hold no history of government blacklisting, and have no pending litigation or abandoned contracts. CNIC photocopy is required. Firms must operate personal bank accounts in Pakistan for bid security. Typically for supply and service contracts of this scale, firms should have documented experience in the relevant categories and adequate financial capacity to pre-fund operations under a rate-contract arrangement.
