Import of Laboratory Equipment for Urban & Infrastructure Engineering Department at NED University

NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, invites sealed bids on Cost and Freight (C&F) basis for the import of laboratory equipment for the Department of Urban & Infrastructure Engineering. This procurement is part of the MEGA-6 project for strengthening laboratory facilities across five leading engineering universities in Pakistan, including UET Peshawar, Taxila, Lahore, Khuzdar, and NED Karachi. The tender uses a single-stage one-envelope procedure and is issued under reference PC(M-6)/NED/Equip/Urban/8572/2026. Bids must be submitted through the Electronic Procurement Agencies (EPADS) portal only; manual submissions will not be considered. The procurement is open to manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors, and suppliers of laboratory equipment.

Eligibility criteria require bidders to demonstrate at least three years of experience in the relevant field and provide evidence of average annual turnover not less than Rs 100 million per year based on online annual returns submitted to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Bidders must be registered with the General Sales Tax (GST) authority and maintain active status. A statutory affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper is mandatory, confirming no litigation history, non-blacklisting, and freedom from corrupt, fraudulent, or collusive practices, with the affidavit date and bidder signature both later than the tender publication date. Bid security equivalent to 2 percent of the bid value must be submitted in the form of a pay order made in favor of the Director Finance, NEDUET.
