Description / Scope of Work
The Public Health Engineering Division, Kasur invites tenders for Preventive Maintenance of the Functional Rural Water Supply Scheme in Khai Tehsil, District Kasur, Punjab. The project is valued at Rs. 9.516 Million with a contract period of six months. Tenders are being invited through the EPADS e-procurement portal in compliance with PPRA Rules 2014. The work is being undertaken on item-wise rates as per approved DNIT specifications, addressing critical water supply infrastructure maintenance needs in the Kasur district.
Bidders must possess valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration in specialization codes CE01, CE09, or CE10 for the financial year 2026-27. Participating firms are required to register on the EPADS 2.0 portal (https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/) and maintain active registration with PEC throughout the tender process. Earnest money of Rs. 475,775 (5% of estimated cost) must be submitted as a CDR in favor of the Executive Engineer. The original CDR document must be physically submitted to the office by the bid closing date and time; failure to do so renders the bid non-responsive.
Bids are to be submitted through EPADS by 10:30 AM on 12.08.2026 and will be opened the same day at 02:00 PM by the Tender Opening Committee at the office of Executive Engineer, Public Health Engineering Division, 180-Munir Shaheed Colony Kasur. Technical and financial proposals must be submitted separately in accordance with the Single Stage Two Envelopes (SSTE) bidding procedure. All bids must strictly adhere to PPRA circular No. L&M(PPRA)10-1/20211 dated 11.10.2024. Performance guarantee of up to 10% may be required in the form of pay order, bank draft, cash, or bank guarantee valid three months beyond completion date.
