Description / Scope of Work
The National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Transport Section, is inviting sealed bids for the procurement of oil filters, fuel filters (big and small sizes) and air filters required for a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment. The tender covers supply of filters for 20 different vehicle categories including Suzuki, Honda, Toyota, Changan, Mitsubishi and Isuzu commercial vehicles; buses with Hino and Isuzu engines; loaders, rickshaws, motorcycles and multiple generator models from manufacturers such as Perkins, Cummins and equivalent brands. All filters must be brand new, genuine, unused and conforming strictly to OEM specifications of respective vehicles and generators. Bidders must clearly specify brand name, country of origin and part number for each filter type supplied.
Eligible bidders must possess valid NTN or STN registration and Professional Tax documentation. Bidders are required to submit bank statements covering the last one year to demonstrate financial health, income tax returns for the last two years, and an affidavit on stamp paper worth Rs. 100 certifying non-blacklisting by any government or semi-government organization. Firms must demonstrate relevant experience in filter supply and adequate technical support capacity. The bid security amount is Rs. 113,296. Counterfeit, refurbished or locally modified filters will be rejected; equivalent brands may be accepted only with approval from the Inspection Committee.
Bidders must submit tender documents including percentage of tax, unit rates and total amounts inclusive of all taxes. NUML reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities at any stage based on operational, administrative or budgetary requirements.
