Manhole Covers and Anti-fall Safety Nets Supply by WASA Rahim Yar Khan

The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Rahim Yar Khan invites sealed bids from registered contractors and firms for the provision and fixing of missing manhole covers and manhole anti-fall safety nets in Zone-II of Rahim Yar Khan city, Punjab. Two separate contracts are being tendered: the first for supplying and fixing missing manhole covers with an estimated cost of Rs. 23.206 million, and the second for providing and fixing manhole anti-fall safety nets valued at Rs. 30.300 million. Both works are scheduled for completion within three months. The tender is administered through the Punjab e-Procurement System (ePADS) in compliance with PPRA Rules 2014 and follows the revised contract form prescribed by the Punjab Regulatory Authority.

Eligibility is restricted to contractors and firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) holding valid licenses in the respective category for the financial year 2026-27. Bidders must submit digital bid security equivalent to 5% of the estimated bid cost in favour of the Managing Director, WASA Rahim Yar Khan (NTN No. 9024016-4), which shall be verifiable on the Punjab eProcurement System. All bids must be submitted through the online portal with rates quoted against each item of the approved DNIT (Detailed Notice of Intention to Tender) rather than as percentages; percentage-based bids will be declared non-responsive. Additional performance security or quality assurance security may be required from the lowest bidder if the bid is 5% or more below the sanctioned estimated cost.

Bids must be submitted before 11:00 AM on 18 August 2026, and will be opened at 11:30 AM the same day in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee at the office of the Deputy Director (Engineering), WASA Rahim Yar Khan, District Water Testing Laboratory, Club Road near Comprehensive High School. Bidders may download the approved DNIT from the Punjab e-Procurement website at http://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/ViewTender.aspx, complete it with quoted rates, and upload it before the closing deadline.
