Description / Scope of Work
The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA), Vehari invites electronic bids through the e-Procurement System for two major sewerage infrastructure projects in Punjab. The first work involves replacement of damaged sewer lines and construction/rehabilitation of sullage carrier infrastructure at an estimated cost of Rs 1,36,33,855, while the second comprises mechanical desiltation and winching of existing clogged sewer lines plus desiltation of a disposal station, valued at Rs 1,73,81,617. Both projects are critical for maintaining and improving sanitation services in Vehari. The bidding process follows a single-stage single-envelope procedure under Public Procurement Rules 2004, with bids closing on 05 October 2026 at 02:00 PM and opening scheduled for 02:30 PM the same day on the e-PADS portal. All applicable taxes as prescribed by the Government of Punjab are the responsibility of the contractor.

Bids must be uploaded as readable PDF files before the closing date and time in accordance with Rule 36(b) of Public Procurement Rules 2004. Bid opening will occur at the office of WASA Vehari located at Public Health Engineering Division in the presence of the procurement committee and prospective bidders or their representatives. The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary safety equipment for labour during sewer line and manhole work; WASA shall not be liable for any accident or incident during execution.
