Description / Scope of Work
WASA Talagang invites sealed bids for the execution of desilting works on sewer lines with heaving diameter of 12 inches to 18 inches at Sultan Road in Talagang City, Punjab. The project is valued at Rs 34,99,104 and is being advertised for the financial year 2026-27 under the second bi-annual procurement cycle (1 July to 31 December 2026). The scope encompasses cleaning and maintenance of critical sewerage infrastructure in the city to ensure proper drainage functionality. Bids will be received through the e-Procurement system at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/ in accordance with the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure outlined in the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014, with the tender reference number 114 issued on 14 September 2026.
Eligible bidders must be registered on e-PADS for the year 2026-27 and must be registered contractors authorised to undertake civil works in Punjab. A bid security of Rs 1,74,955 (5% of estimated cost) from any scheduled bank in Punjab must accompany each bid. Bidders whose rates fall equal to or below 5% of the estimated cost are required to deposit additional performance security ranging from 5% to 10% (inclusive of the initial bid security) within 15 days of formal notice of award. All bids must contain clearly readable, item-wise quotations; conditional, ambiguous, incomplete, corrupted, unsigned or non-stamped bids will be rejected outright.
Bidding documents are available for free download from the e-Procurement portal at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/. Completed bids must be submitted electronically by 11:00 AM PST on 07 October 2026, and bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM PST in the presence of bidders or their representatives at the WASA Talagang office. The successful bidder must execute a formal agreement on government-specified stamp paper within seven days of receiving the acceptance letter and before issuance of the work order.
