Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Employees Social Security Institution invites e-bids on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis for the procurement of laboratory items, furniture fixture and IT equipment for PESSI Nursing School located at Social Security Hospital on the 8-KM Manga-Raiwind Road in Lahore, Punjab. The total estimated cost of the procurement is Rs. 53.8 Million (Rs. 53,800,000) inclusive of all applicable taxes, with bidders permitted to quote for one, two or all three lots: Lot 1 covering laboratory items valued at Rs. 18.5 Million, Lot 2 covering furniture fixture items valued at Rs. 12.5 Million, and Lot 3 covering IT items valued at Rs. 22.8 Million. The procurement shall be conducted through the Punjab E-Procurement System under PPRA Rules 2014 as amended to date, following a single-stage single-envelope procedure.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Punjab E-Procurement System, registered as sales tax taxpayers, and listed as active income taxpayers. A bid security of 2 percent of the total estimated price for each quoted item must be submitted in the form of CDR, bank guarantee, demand draft or pay order in favour of the Commissioner PESSI. Bid validity shall be 90 days from the date of opening of bids, and bidders shall submit original affidavits on e-stamp paper to the office of the Director Procurement Equipment on or before the closing date and time of submission.
The bidding document in English language can be downloaded by interested registered bidders from the Punjab E-Procurement System website at ep.punjab.gov.pk, PPRA website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk, or PESSI website at www.pessi.gop.pk. All bids and 2 percent bid securities must be submitted electronically through the Punjab E-Procurement System in accordance with PPRA instructions. E-bids must be submitted on or before 21-08-2026 at 11:00 A.M., with technical e-bids opening on the same day at 11:30 A.M.
