Repair and Rehabilitation of Nowshera Road in Gujranwala

Municipal Corporation Gujranwala invites electronic bids from contractors and firms registered with the relevant registration systems for the repair and rehabilitation of Nowshera Road from Surah Chowk to PSO Pump, MC Gujranwala, in Punjab. This infrastructure improvement project, valued at 39.985 million rupees with a bid security requirement of 1.999 million rupees, is part of the Municipal Development & Sanitation Scheme for fiscal year 2026-27. The project scope covers essential road maintenance and rehabilitation works in Gujranwala, a major city in Punjab, and all bids must be submitted electronically through the e-Procurement System in accordance with PPRA guidelines and instructions.

Eligible bidders must be registered with the e-Procurement System, FBR, PRA, NTN and PNTN, and Pakistan Engineering Council in relevant categories. Bid-security of five percent of the estimated price must accompany all e-bids submitted electronically. No physical bid-security instruments will be accepted under any circumstances. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to acceptance, and conditional tenders will not be entertained. Bids remain valid for one hundred and twenty days from the submission date.

Bid documents must be completed, authenticated and uploaded as PDF files through the e-Procurement System at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/ in accordance with the published schedule. The bid submission deadline is 25 August 2026 at 11:00 AM, with electronic bids opening at 01:00 PM on the same date. Bidders may attend the office of the Chief Officer, Municipal Corporation Gujranwala on 11 August 2026 when all bids will be downloaded from the e-Procurement System after the fixed time in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee. The lowest evaluated bidder must submit performance security of ten percent of the contract amount within fifteen days of offer acceptance.
