Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration, Karachi invites electronic bids for the supply and installation of air conditioning peripherals at HBL Block City Campus. This single-stage procurement is open to active taxpayers and manufacturers, firms, companies and suppliers registered with SPPRA EPADS and relevant tax authorities. The tender is referenced as ME/01/26-27 and follows a single-envelope procedure with a bid security requirement of 2 percent of the bid amount. Tender documents are available from the Office of Head of Procurement at Fauji Foundation Building, IBA Main Campus, University Enclave, Karachi, with issuance commencing July 30, 2026 at 9 AM and closing August 19, 2026 at 2:30 PM.
Eligible bidders must be registered with SPPRA EPADS and relevant tax authorities as active taxpayers. Bid security must be submitted in the form of a Pay Order or Demand Draft made payable to IBA Karachi, equivalent to 2 percent of the bid amount. A tender fee of Rs. 2,000 per bid is required, with the fee challan generated from the IBA website and deposited at any branch of Meezan Bank Ltd. Bidders are required to submit duly signed and stamped bids through the SPPRA EPADS system at www.eprocure.gov.pk, along with copies of earnest money and all supporting documents. Original bid security and the original signed bid must be physically delivered to IBA Karachi before bid opening.
Tender documents can be downloaded from the IBA website at https://www.iba.edu.pk/tenders/ or the SPPRA EPADS system. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for August 12, 2026 at 12 Noon at IBA City Campus. Bids will be opened on August 19, 2026 at 3:00 PM at the procurement office in the presence of bidders' representatives who wish to attend. IBA Karachi reserves the right to reject any bid or cancel the bidding process subject to SPP Rules 2010.
