Description / Scope of Work
The Directorate General Procurement (Army) near 502 Central Base Workshop EME, Main Adyala Road Rawalpindi, is inviting sealed tenders from reputed firms for the supply of various pneumatic tyres and vehicle spare parts. The tender encompasses multiple lots including tubeless and tube-type tyres in sizes ranging from 6.50x14 to 14.00x20, with total quantities exceeding 37,000 units across the first batch, plus substantial vehicle spare parts for Land Rover Defender variants, Hino trucks, Mitsubishi vehicles, and Isuzu trucks. Delivery periods range from 3 to 12 months depending on the item category. All procurement will be conducted in accordance with PPRA rules, and firms are discouraged from quoting exorbitant rates. Eligible bidders must possess valid NTN certificates and registration from the Directorate General Defense Purchase (DGDP), along with valid Sales Tax registration. Required submissions include attested copies of registration certificates, proof of godwon (warehouse), bank statements for the preceding year, attested CNIC of the managing director, undertakings regarding financial capability and non-blacklisting status, and details of previous government or semi-government contracts. A non-refundable challan form for Rs. 2,000 must be deposited with the Government Treasury. Bid security of 5 percent of the quoted value (upper limit Rs. 1,000,000) is mandatory, submitted as a bank draft or pay order in favour of CMA (DP) Rawalpindi. Offers must remain valid for 120 days from the commercial offer opening date, and successful bidders will be required to provide a performance bank guarantee of 10 percent within 30 days of contract signature.
Tender documents and detailed specifications are obtainable from DGP (Army) upon submission of the required documentation. The tender submission deadlines vary by lot, with opening dates between 24 August 2026 and 08 September 2026, all at 1030 hrs for submission and 1100 hrs for opening. All submissions will be opened in the presence of firm representatives in the tender room at DGP (Army). Indigenous firms will receive price preference as per prevailing procedure.
