Description / Scope of Work
Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC) invites bids from experienced firms and contractors for the upgradation of the Pakistan Handicraft Shop located at PSIC House, Davis Road, Lahore, Punjab. The estimated contract value is Rs. 28,810,205 with an earnest money requirement of Rs. 1,440,510. The project completion period is four months. This is a single-stage two-envelope procurement conducted through the Punjab e-Procurement system (eP) portal in accordance with PPRA Rules 2014. The work involves physical upgradation and refurbishment of the handicraft retail facility to enhance its functionality and commercial appeal.
Eligible bidders must hold valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-5 or above in the relevant field of specialization for the current year. Firms must also be validly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) or the Registrar of Firms, or be a government-owned organization. Applicants are required to submit an undertaking on judicial stamp paper confirming they have never been blacklisted by PSIC, along with a valid tax certificate from the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) or Provincial Revenue Authority (PRA). Earnest money must be submitted as a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) in favour of the Director (W&D), PSIC Head Office Lahore, at 5 percent of the tender cost before the bid closing date and time.
Bidding documents containing technical and financial proposals are available free of cost on the PPRA website (www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk) and the Punjab e-Procurement portal (https://ep.punjab.gov.pk). All bids must be submitted online by 31 August 2026 at 10:00 AM, with technical proposals opening at 11:00 AM the same day in the Committee Room, 1st Floor, PSIC House, 23-A Davis Road, Lahore.
