Description / Scope of Work
The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has secured World Bank financing for the Balochistan Water Security and Productivity Improvement Project (BWSPIP), with procurement conducted under notice OP00461523. This Request for Quotations (RFQ) is issued by the Quetta Water and Sanitation Authority Project Implementation Unit in Balochistan province. The project aims to reduce the significant water supply-demand gap in the QWASA service area by improving QWASA's planning capabilities and enhancing groundwater management for sustainable water security and improved productivity in the region. The procuring authority is based in Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan, and implementation will support water resource development and service delivery across the QWASA jurisdiction.
Quotations are invited from eligible suppliers and contractors qualified to execute the required goods, services, or works under this World Bank-financed project. Standard eligibility criteria applicable to World Bank-funded procurement apply, including valid business registration, tax compliance, and absence from any debarment lists. Bidders should possess relevant experience and technical capacity to deliver in the water supply and sanitation sector.
