Description / Scope of Work
Commandant CMT & SD Golra is conducting a public auction of unserviceable stores and scrap materials at Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) premises under the direction of M/s Junaid Anwaar Kaini & CO. The auction will be held on 07–08 October 2026 from 0930 to 1500 hours at HIT in Punjab on an 'as is where is' basis. Interested bidders may inspect and assess the auctionable materials during 02–06 October 2026 between 1000 and 1200 hours at the HIT premises. No inspection or viewing is permitted once the auction commences.
Bidders must possess an original CNIC (computerised national identity card) with a photocopy for entry to HIT; entry without valid identification will not be allowed. Successful bidders are required to deposit 25% of the total sale amount on the same day of auction, with the remaining 75% plus applicable General Sales Tax, Income Tax and other government levies (as per current policy) to be deposited within the prescribed timeframe to the auctioneer for onward transfer to the Government Treasury. If the remaining payment is not deposited within the due course timeframe, the initial 25% deposit will be forfeited to the Government Treasury.
Successful bidders must deposit all taxes into government tax account FTN-9010700-4 or the bid will not be accepted. Bidders must submit five sets each of firm letterhead, delivery order, tax challan forms and photocopies of computerised identity cards. The successful bidder must personally remove the auctioned lot from HIT within fifteen working days (inclusive of auction days) at their own expense; no representative removal is permitted. Security-type stores or scrap must be de-militarised (cut into pieces) by the successful bidder in their own cost under the supervision of HIT administration.
