For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
University of the Punjab is auctioning accumulated used mobil oil, tyres, batteries and scrap materials on an as-is-where-is basis.
This appears to be a routine institutional asset disposal rather than a commercial procurement contract. The Rs. 100,000 bid security requirement is substantial relative to typical scrap auction values, suggesting the university is serious about ensuring buyer commitment. Bidders should inspect materials thoroughly during office hours beforehand; the closing date allows reasonable preparation time. The auction is non-recurring institutional housekeeping.
Who can bid: The notice does not specify formal eligibility criteria such as PEC registration, SECP incorporation, or NTN requirements. Typically for scrap and waste material auctions in Pakistan, bidders should possess valid NTN registration and may require provincial municipal or environmental clearance depending on disposal methods. Registered businesses are usually preferred.
