Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) invites quotations for the rehabilitation of an existing building at PSO-87 Sindh Filling Station, Karachi Division, Sindh. The scope of work encompasses complete removal and reconstruction of the roof slab, including dismantling of the existing roof structure, parapet wall, and all internal fixtures such as sanitary items, electrical wiring, aluminium windows, doors, fibre tanks and plumbing systems. The project involves pouring a new roof slab with RCC work, construction of parapet walls maintaining PSO elevation standards, supply and installation of new sanitary and plumbing fixtures, complete tiling of office floors and plinth protection areas, installation of two 500-gallon fibre tanks (one for carwash and one for office use), underground water storage tanks, complete electrical rewiring with fixtures, and waterproofing of the new roof slab. The contractor must obtain prior approval from the Engineer-in-Charge for beam dismantling locations and carefully preserve all existing reinforcement steel for lapping into the new roof slab. All retrieved materials including sanitary items, equipment, fans, lights, air conditioning units and aluminium materials remain PSO property and must be securely stacked for reuse or relocated to PSO depots as directed. Bidders must be registered with relevant authorities and comply with all PSO safety procedures, standard operating procedures and safety guidelines during execution. Contractors are responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions from local authorities including Municipal Authorities, SBCA, KWSB, KMC and TMC, with only actual challan fees to be reimbursed by PSO. Hard barricading of the working area with GI sheets and scaffold pipes is mandatory before commencement. All retrieved steel bars become contractor property and should be quoted accordingly. The contractor must arrange temporary protection sheets for existing electrical distribution boards during dismantling and bear costs of any damages to on-site equipment or materials without additional compensation.
Bid documents are available upon request and must be submitted by 1 September 2026. The request for quotation (RFQ No. RC-19891AM, SAP No. 6100017807) specifies the concrete item as 1:2:4 concrete in slab requiring 45 cubic metres. All changes due to site conditions must be executed by the contractor as part of the item scope without additional cost claims.
