Description / Scope of Work
Government Degree College No.1 DIKhan, operating under the Higher Education Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed bids from registered and reputed firms for the supply and installation of a 5 kilowatt hybrid solar system and the upgradation of an existing 5 kilowatt day-time solar system to a hybrid configuration at the college premises. The project aims to enhance the institution's renewable energy capacity and reduce operational costs through modern hybrid solar technology integration. The bidding process will be conducted in accordance with KPPRA Rules 2014 through a single-stage, single-envelope procedure, ensuring transparent and competitive procurement.
Bidders must be registered firms with established credentials and must submit a bid security equal to 2 percent of the bid value as a bank draft or call deposit in favor of the Principal. Firms blacklisted by Federal, Provincial, or Autonomous bodies are automatically disqualified and considered non-responsive. All quoted rates must be inclusive of applicable taxes, which will be deducted from final bills. Bidders are expected to provide their best and final prices as no post-bid negotiations will be conducted. Incomplete bids will be summarily rejected without further consideration.
Complete bidding documents are available from the Principal's office at Government Degree College No.1 DIKhan during regular office hours upon payment of PKR 300. Sealed tender envelopes must reach the Principal's office by 11:00 AM on or before September 1, 2026, with bid opening scheduled for 11:30 AM on the same date in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. The purchase committee reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders, in whole or in part, in accordance with Rule 47(i) of KPPRA Procurement Rules 2014. Interested bidders are encouraged to be present during the opening ceremony to witness the transparent evaluation process.
