Description / Scope of Work
Municipal Committee Sheikhupura invites sealed bids from registered engineering firms, contractors and suppliers for two major infrastructure projects in Punjab. The first project involves providing and fixing a 50KVA solar system at the Municipal Committee office, with an estimated cost of PKR 8,765,192. The second project is renovation of the slaughter house operated by the Municipal Committee, estimated at PKR 9,160,796. Both projects are to be executed in Sheikhupura district and advertised through the Punjab Public Procurement Regulatory Authority e-Tendering System in compliance with applicable PPRA rules.
Eligible bidders must hold valid registration with Pakistan Engineering Council in relevant category codes and be registered on the Punjab PPRA website at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. All intending contractors and firms must furnish earnest money or bid security equivalent to 4 percent of the estimated cost through the prescribed online mechanism on e-PADS prior to bid submission. The bid security for the solar project is PKR 350,608 and for the slaughter house renovation is PKR 366,432. Bidders must be registered with income tax and sales tax authorities, and with FBR. Submission of fake documents such as CDRs will result in disqualification and blacklisting.
Bids are to be submitted online on the PPRA portal with closing date and time of 14 October 2026 at 12:00 PM. Bid opening will occur at 12:30 PM the same day at the office of the Chief Officer, Municipal Committee Sheikhupura, opposite Police Line, Lahore Road, District Courts, Sheikhupura.
