Description / Scope of Work
Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT), through its Supply Chain Management Directorate located in Taxila Cantt, Punjab, invites sealed bids for the refurbishment of 20 x 105 mm tank guns under Tender No. IT-7713. The procurement is being undertaken on a FOR (Free on Road) basis in accordance with PPRA and Ministry of Defence Production rules. The delivery period is two months after signing of contract. The scope encompasses complete refurbishment services for the specified tank gun systems, with the tender available on the PPRA website for qualified manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors, and suppliers meeting the stated eligibility criteria.
Eligible bidders must possess a valid National Tax Number (NTN) and Sales Tax Registration where applicable. Required documents include photocopies of registration or pre-qualification letters from HIT, DGP, MoDP or government organizations; attested copies of sales tax and NTN certificates; audit reports for the last three financial years; attested bank statements for the preceding year; attested CNIC of the CEO or Director; proof of trade linkage with the original equipment manufacturer in case of distributors or agents; and a certificate on judicial paper worth Rs 100 duly attested by an Oath Commissioner confirming the firm has not been blacklisted, suspended, or debarred by any government organization. Evidence of contracts executed or works experience with government or semi-government organizations in the last three financial years is mandatory. A postal order of Rs 2,000 must accompany the technical bid.
Bid documents are available on the PPRA website. Sealed bids must be submitted on or before 14 September 2026 at 1030 hours at the Supply Chain Management Directorate, HIT Taxila. Bid opening will take place immediately thereafter at 1100 hours on the same date.
