Description / Scope of Work
Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT), located in Taxila Cantt, Punjab, invites sealed bids from eligible manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors and suppliers for the procurement of stores required for the refurbishment of the TK T-59MII tank. The tender is issued under PPRA and Ministry of Defence Production rules on a FOR (Free on Rail) basis with a delivery period of three months after contract signing. Detailed schedule of requirements and specifications are provided in Annexure A of the Standard Bidding Document. Bidders must possess valid National Tax Number (NTN) and Sales Tax Registration where applicable, along with proper registration or pre-qualification letters from HIT, DGP, MoDP or relevant government organizations. Eligible bidders should collect tender documents from the PPRA website and submit sealed bids in two envelopes (technical and financial proposals) by 14 September 2026 at 1030 hours at the Supply Chain Management Directorate, HIT Taxila. Bids will be opened on the same date at 1100 hours. A postal order of Rs 2000 must accompany the technical bid. Bidders are required to submit audit reports for the last three financial years, attested bank statements, CNIC copies of CEO/Director, documentary evidence of prior government contracts, and a non-blacklist certificate on judicial paper attested by oath commissioner.
