Description / Scope of Work
Federal Government Organization (FGO) invites prequalification of firms, suppliers and contractors for multiple repair and maintenance services across seven distinct categories for fiscal year 2026-2027, extendable through 2028-2029. The procurement encompasses repair and maintenance of transport vehicles and motorcycles including spare parts, batteries, wheel alignment, denting, painting, electrical work, AC service and tyres; repair and maintenance of office buildings and civil works; repair of hardware, computers, printers and IT equipment; repair of furniture and fixtures; repair of machinery and office equipment; repair of photocopier machines; and maintenance and service of air conditioners. All work shall be performed in Quetta, Balochistan through an open framework agreement under Rule 16-A of PPRA Rules 2004. Bidders are invited to register through e-Pak Acquisition Disposal System (EPADS 2.0) and the prequalification process is designed to create a standing panel of approved contractors.
Eligible contractors and firms must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) with valid NTN and GST, and must be included in the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of Income Tax or Sales Tax maintained by FBR. All applicable taxes shall be deducted at prescribed rates from service payments. Successful prequalified firms shall furnish a security deposit and performance guarantee of Rs. 120,000 in the shape of a pay-order issued in favour of DDO BPHQ Quetta, refundable upon contract expiry. Submission of fake documents, unfair means or misinformation will result in blacklisting. The FGO reserves the right to reject all bids under Rule 33 of PPRA Rules 2004.
Bidding documents are available for download from PPRA website www.ppra.gov.pk and EPADS 2.0 at https://epads.gov.pk. Firms must submit proposals through EPADS with hard copies reaching the Federal Government Organization office at Near Civil Line Police Station, Opposite Governor House, Zarghoon Road, Quetta on or before 16 September 2026 at 12:00 noon. All seven categories close simultaneously on the same date. Proposals will be opened at 12:30 PM the same day in the presence of bidders' representatives.
