Description / Scope of Work
Faisalabad Medical University invites competitive bids for a framework contract of medical instruments for the financial year 2026-2027 under the Punjab e-Procurement System. The procurement covers multiple categories of instruments including general store items, stationery, printing materials, X-ray films and chemicals, linen items, medical and research items, and biomedical store items. The contract is being undertaken for Faisalabad Medical University, Allied Hospital, and Faisalabad Teaching Hospital located in Faisalabad, Punjab. The bidding process is conducted through single-stage two-envelope sealed bidding methodology via electronic means under Rule 12 of PPRA and Section 6 of Punjab Electronic Procurement Regulations 2024. Interested eligible bidders must be registered with income tax or sales tax authorities and maintain active taxpayer status with the Federal Board of Revenue.
Bidders must submit bid security equivalent to 2 percent of the estimated price for the financial year 2026-27, with failure to submit security resulting in bid rejection. All proposals must strictly adhere to instructions provided in the bidding documents, including technical specifications and tender requirements. Bidders are required to carefully review all bidding documents and comply with prescribed eligibility, technical, and other tender requirements; non-compliance will lead to rejection.
