Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

IESCO seeks contractors for shifting five 132kV transmission circuits in Islamabad due to road extension—a medium-scale electrical infrastructure project worth approximately Rs.

14.3 million. The work involves coordinated relocation of multiple interconnected circuits, requiring PEC-registered contractors with high-voltage transmission experience. Execution timeline extends to September 2026; limited window remains for mobilization and permitting. This is a one-off infrastructure adaptation project, not recurring, but represents steady demand given ongoing urban development in Islamabad.

Who can bid: Bidders must typically hold PEC registration (Category relevant to electrical transmission works), valid NTN from FBR, SECP registration, and documented past experience executing 132kV or higher transmission projects. IESCO's blacklisting policy applies; contractors under suspension or blacklist are ineligible. Compliance with Integrity Pact requirements is mandatory.
