KTDMC is seeking a Takaful insurance partner for group life coverage — a recurring services contract typical of institutional employee benefit programs.
The procurement requires specialized Islamic insurance credentials and operational capacity for group life administration. This appears to be a medium-scale institutional contract. Bidders should note the specialized nature (Takaful compliance mandatory) and that proposal must include detailed coverage terms and competitive pricing for group schemes.
Who can bid: Bidders must be licensed insurance companies authorized by the State Bank of Pakistan or relevant regulator to offer Takaful products. Registration with SECP and active insurance authority approvals are typically mandatory. Firms must demonstrate financial capacity, prior group life experience, and Sharia-compliance certifications. Local or international insurers operating in Pakistan are eligible if registered.
