Description / Scope of Work
The Office of the Deputy Director Education Skardu invites sealed tenders for printing of examination materials, question and answer scripts, award lists and miscellaneous items including packing and delivery charges for the Financial Year 2026-27 ending 30th June 2027. The procurement is open to eligible and registered Government contractors and firms operating in Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan. Tenders will be opened on 23rd September 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Deputy Director Education Office Skardu in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
Only registered firms and dealers with an established printing press and warehouse in Skardu are eligible to submit bids. Bidders must provide a 2% call deposit issued by a Schedule bank or KCBL GB in favour of the Deputy Director Education Skardu; incomplete bids without this security will be rejected. Rates must be quoted separately for each item but evaluated on a lot basis, and all prices must be inclusive of applicable taxes and delivery charges. Successful bidders will be required to submit 10% performance security in the form of a CDR or pay order within 10 days after bid opening. An affidavit on legal stamp paper worth Rs.50/- confirming non-blacklisting status is mandatory.
Bidding documents can be obtained from the DDO Deputy Director Education Skardu office on 22nd September 2026 at the fee prescribed under the Finance Act 2025. The tender follows a single-stage two-envelope process with both technical and financial proposals in separate sealed envelopes within one outer envelope. The procurement will be conducted in accordance with GB PPRA 2022 rules and amendments.
