Description / Scope of Work
The Livelihood Promotion Programme invites electronic bids from eligible contractors for execution of three works packages in Sindh Province during 2026, based on composite schedule rates for 2023 on a percentage rate basis. The scope includes construction of a road from farm to market in Sham Area with completion by 30 June 2027, rehabilitation of Markund Flood Irrigation Channel, and lining of Digwash Flood Irrigation Channel. The tender is issued under the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014 and requires registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and specialized code. All bidders must be present in the Active Tax Payer List and possess valid Balochistan Revenue Authority Registration. No physical bids are accepted; only electronic bids submitted through the BPPRA public procurement system will be received.
Eligibility criteria mandate that bidding firms must not be blacklisted by any government agency of Pakistan and must demonstrate completed assignment of similar nature and financial capacity. Bid Security shall be deposited in the form of a Bank Guarantee at two percent of the bid amount from a scheduled bank, with Call Deposit at State Bank of Pakistan for each work.
