Description / Scope of Work
The Regional Tax Office, Sialkot, invites electronic bids through EPADS v2.0 for the disposal of scrap and residual material generated from the dismantling and destruction of confiscated machinery, equipment and raw material. The auction comprises two lots: Lot 1 includes scrap from three large cigarette rolling machines and five small cigarette manufacturing machines, totaling approximately 12.670 tons with a reserve price of Rs. 2,450,000; Lot 2 consists of old air conditioners and miscellaneous scrap items weighing 1,200 kg with a reserve price of Rs. 250,000. The total reserve price for both lots is Rs. 2,700,000. The disposal is conducted in accordance with PPRA framework, rules, regulations and guidelines of the Federal Board of Revenue. All material shall be sold on an as-is, where-is basis without any warranty regarding quality, quantity or condition.
Only bidders duly registered on EPADS v2.0 are eligible to participate. The successful bidder must deposit the accepted sale consideration within the period specified in the award or acceptance letter, with all applicable taxes, duties, levies, fees and charges payable in addition to the accepted bid amount.
