For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
This is a procurement of used serviceable aviation tyres for maritime fender applications across multiple PQA craft locations in Sindh.
The goods are used/serviceable items rather than new equipment, suggesting a maintenance or replacement requirement at operational facilities. The tender follows federal procurement rules on a single-stage basis with LCBS evaluation, indicating cost is the primary award criterion. The requirement to use EPADS v2.0 and provide bid security signals a formal, transparent process with standard due diligence. Bidders should note the maritime/naval context and ensure tyres meet both aviation standards and fender-use specifications.
Who can bid: Typically, bidders for federal goods procurement must be registered on EPADS v2.0, hold a valid NTN certificate, and comply with any sector-specific licensing. The notice does not explicitly state whether suppliers must hold aviation or maritime certifications, though the specialized nature (aviation tyres) may imply quality/sourcing verification requirements. Pre-qualification criteria are not detailed in the excerpt provided.
