Description / Scope of Work
The Irrigation Department, Small Dams Division Jhelum invites electronic bids for repairing the irrigation channel of Ugahuan Dam under Single Stage–Single Envelope competitive bidding procedure. The estimated project cost is Rs 4,557,800 with a completion period of 60 days. This civil works project falls under the Punjab Irrigation Department's Small Dams Circle-II mandate and addresses essential irrigation infrastructure maintenance in Punjab's water management system.
Eligible bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant construction category for financial year 2026-27 and must have active registration on the Punjab e-procurement system (https://ep.punjab.gov.pk). Bid security is fixed at 5 percent of the estimated cost, equivalent to Rs 227,890, and must be submitted as an original Demand Draft, Call Deposit, or Bank Guarantee from a Scheduled Bank of Pakistan. The financial instrument must be in the name of the Executive Engineer, Small Dams Division, Jhelum. Failure to submit the original bid security document renders the bid non-responsive.

Electronic bids must be submitted through the Punjab e-procurement system by 23 September 2026 at 1:30 PM, with bid opening scheduled for the same day at 2:00 PM at the office of the Project Director, Small Dams Circle-II, Jhelum. Bidders may attend the opening ceremony in person or through authorized representatives. Manual bids are not accepted. The lowest evaluated bidder must furnish Quality Assurance Security before contract execution.
