For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
Procurement of materials (solid state components, mild steel, mechanical and engineering supplies) for shop manufacturing as part of the Thar Rail Connectivity Project—a significant railway infrastructure initiative.
Scope appears medium-scale based on project nature and vendor category (materials and consumables for in-house manufacturing). E-bidding only; bidders must register on EPADS v2.0 before submission. Bid security required; no pre-bid meeting indicated. Tight closing (October 1, 2026) and specification detail suggest serious buyer with defined technical needs.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0. Typically, suppliers of industrial and engineering materials require NTN (National Tax Number) registration, and if applicable, relevant industry certifications. The notice does not specify PEC category or other sectoral restrictions, but standard procurement practice requires proof of business registration (SECP or equivalent) and tax compliance.
