Pakistan Railways Rawalpindi Division invites bids for the up-gradation of Passenger Platform No. 1, provision of toilets, and repair to road surface towards Jhelum Railway station on the Lalamusa-Rawalpindi Section in Punjab. The estimated project cost is Rs. 41,151,769 with a completion period of three months. This is a civil and electrical works project open to approved contractors of Pakistan Railways or other government departments. The bidding process follows the Pakistan Railway Composite Schedule of Rates 2016 and Through Rates basis as per PPRA Rules on a single stage-two envelope system through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (ePADS v2.0).
Eligible bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in Category C-5 and above with relevant codes of specialization for civil and electrical works, and must be on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue. The bid security required is Rs. 823,035 in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) or Bank Guarantee. Bidders must submit scanned copies of bid security through ePADS v2.0 as well as originals in sealed envelopes with copies of CNIC, valid PEC registration license, and current ATL status.

E-bids must be submitted through ePADS v2.0 to the office of the Divisional Accounts Officer, Pakistan Railways Rawalpindi on or before Monday, September 28, 2026 at 12:00 PM. Bid opening will occur on the same day at 12:30 PM at the Divisional Accounts Officer's office in the presence of firm representatives. The Railway administration reserves the right to reject all bids at any time prior to acceptance.
