Description / Scope of Work
The Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Department, Government of the Punjab, invites electronic bids from eligible firms for the provision of integrated venue and catering services for collective marriage ceremonies to be organized across Faisalabad Division. The contract is a framework agreement for the financial year 2026-27, targeting the arrangement of 5,000 marriages district-wise with approximately 1,200 guests per event. The scope of work encompasses provision of venue or hall with adequate seating capacity and decoration, sofas and stage setup for couples, catering and local food arrangements either cooked on-site or locally procured, ambient lighting and sound system installation, display arrangements, guest management coordination, security coordination, and weather-proofing facilities. The successful bidder will be responsible for managing all logistics and arrangements as per the specifications and timelines determined by the competent authority.
Eligible bidders must be qualified, experienced firms capable of managing large-scale events. Bidders are required to submit relevant documents establishing their eligibility and past experience in similar venue and catering operations. A bid security as specified in the bidding document must accompany all bids. Bidders must comply with all technical and commercial terms outlined in the bidding document and must not have any history of corrupt or fraudulent practices. The bidding process will be conducted through the Punjab E-Procurement System (eP).
