Description / Scope of Work
The Conservator of Forests, Diamer Astore Forest Circle Chilas invites sealed bids from eligible firms and constructors licensed by Pakistan Engineering Council for infrastructure development in Chilas and Darel/Tangir Forest Divisions aimed at protection and conservation of natural resources in District Diamer, Gilgit-Baltistan. The project has an estimated cost of Rs. 45.270 million and encompasses forest protection and conservation infrastructure works across multiple forest divisions in the region. This procurement is issued under notification NO.CFDA-5(26)/2025 dated 10 September 2026.
Eligible bidders must be licensed by Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant code and category. Bid security of 5% of the estimated cost, equivalent to Rs. 5,000, must be submitted in the form of CDR, Pay Order, Demand Draft, or Call deposit from any Scheduled Bank of Pakistan. Bidders must possess valid original CNIC and PEC registration with current renewal fee receipt for 2026-27. Firms that have delayed projects previously awarded by any GB Government or semi-government institution or have been blacklisted are ineligible. Conditional bids will not be accepted.
Bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, and eligibility criteria will be issued to interested firms and constructors on and after 20 September 2026 following approval by the tender committee. Documents are issued on production of original CNIC and valid PEC registration certificate. Sealed bids must be submitted by 29 September 2026 at 11:30 AM, with public opening at 12:00 PM on the same date. Bidding follows Single Stage-two Envelope procedures as specified in GB Public Procurement Rules 2022.
