Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Building Department (North Zone) invites tenders from Engineering Firms and Contractors for the operation and maintenance of escalators and three lifts installed at the New Judicial Complex in Rawalpindi for the financial year 2026-27. The tender will be conducted through the newly introduced e-Procurement System of the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk in compliance with updated PPRA Rules. Interested Engineering Firms and Contractors must be registered on the e-Procurement System to participate in the bidding process and must provide the original PEC license with relevant specifications and code. The procurement covers comprehensive operation and maintenance services for vertical transportation infrastructure within a high-profile judicial facility in Rawalpindi, Punjab.
All bidders must be registered on the newly introduced e-Procurement System and become eligible for participation. The 5% Bid Security must be submitted electronically through the Punjab e-Procurement System only; no physical financial instruments including Call Deposit Receipts will be accepted. Contractors must possess relevant PEC license with requisite specifications code, and manual bids shall not be entertained under any circumstances.
Bid documents are available immediately after publication date. The procurement process will be conducted through the e-Procurement System at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk where registered bidders can download tender documents and submit bids online. Tender opening shall take place on 28-09-2026 at 11:00 AM at the office of the Commissioner, Rawalpindi Division, in the presence of authorized representatives of bidders. Quoted rates will be publicly opened at 11:30 AM on the same date in accordance with applicable PPRA Rules.
